A family legacy of growing exceptional flowers on the shores of Lake Naivasha
Lakeview Petals Ltd was founded in 2008 by Agnes and Peter Kariuki on a modest five-acre plot along the shores of Lake Naivasha. Inspired by the region's unparalleled climate and rich volcanic soils, they believed that Naivasha could produce world-class flowers — and they were right.
What began as a small rose farm supplying Nairobi's flower markets has grown into a 60-acre operation employing over 200 workers and exporting to twelve countries. Through decades of investment in sustainable farming, skilled horticulturalists, and modern post-harvest technology, Lakeview Petals has become one of the region's most respected names in floriculture.
Today, the third generation of the Kariuki family continues the tradition with the same commitment to quality, community, and the environment that their grandparents established.
To grow and supply the finest fresh-cut flowers in East Africa by combining sustainable farming practices, skilled horticulture, and a deep commitment to the communities and ecosystems of the Lake Naivasha basin.
To be Africa's most trusted floriculture brand — known globally for premium quality, environmental stewardship, and the beauty that only Kenya's Rift Valley can produce.
We believe beautiful flowers and a healthy planet are not mutually exclusive.
Drip irrigation and rainwater harvesting systems reduce our water usage by up to 40% compared to conventional flower farming.
We use beneficial insects and biological controls to minimise chemical pesticide use while maintaining healthy, vibrant crops.
All crop waste is composted on-site and returned to the soil as organic fertiliser, reducing our dependence on synthetic inputs.
Our packhouse and cold rooms are partially powered by solar panels installed in 2021, reducing our carbon footprint significantly.
Our farm sits along Moi South Lake Road, one of Kenya's most scenic and fertile stretches of land.
The passionate people behind every beautiful bloom.
